During my internship, I actively contributed to the design and development of a distributed, microservices-based system using Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem. Implemented a centralized security model using Spring Cloud Gateway for request routing, filtering, and JWT-based authentication/authorization, isolating security concerns from business logic.Inter-Service Communication: Implemented both synchronous (RESTful calls via WebClient) and asynchronous (event-driven messaging via RabbitMQ) communication patterns to ensure system resilience and efficiency.Stateful Authentication: Enhanced the authentication service by integrating Redis to manage and validate refresh tokens, enabling secure session management and token revocation capabilities.Clean Code & Best Practices: Applied software engineering best practices, including creating robust global exception handlers, writing clean DTOs with validation (Jakarta Bean Validation), and designing RESTful APIs according to industry standards.Technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, JWT, Docker, Gradle.
