Leading a team of 12 to design a SRAD solid rocket motor with a total impulse of 240 Ns.• Designed a Static Fire test Stand rated for 3500 lbf thrust with a FOS of 1.5.• Integrated a load cell, pressure transducer (PT) and thermocouples into a SRAD DAQ to collect data during hot fires. • Designed a pipe and fitting assembly to collect Chamber Pressure data reducing the PT temperature by 80%.• Conducted Hydrostatic leak test on motor casing and fluid pipes under 600 PSI utilizing calibrated PTs, detected a 0.2 mm leak area and used Root Cause analysis to solve the issue through improved manufacturing methods•Characterizing propellant through regression analysis and burn rate calculations using pressure data from hot fire test.•Authoring SOP’s for mixing Composite Rocket Propellant and safe handling of various chemicals.•Designed and manufactured a safety oven that heats up to 70 C and maintains it for 72 hours, to cure propellant.•Designing a DAQ system to remotely collect and record pressure, temperature and thrust data during hot firing of motor.
