Renewable Generation (RG) is an important and growing division of Shell Renewables and Energy Solutions (RES) as a global team working from regional hubs in the America’s, Europe and Asia, that is responsible for RES’s growth and profitable position in large scale grid connected renewable power generation, principally solar photovoltaics, onshore wind and battery storage. The RG team Develops, Builds and Operates solar and wind assets either through organic growth or via acquisition of development Work with contractors to set site safety (HSSE) standards, procedures, rules and regulations to deliver Goal Zero- Work with the Head of Delivery Europe to develop processes, tools and ways of working that allows the OPI Delivery model to scale at a rate that matches the RES growth ambitions- Integrated management of the EPC Contractor, Owners Engineer, and Equipment Suppliers- Manage solar, wind, battery storage and hybrid project delivery safely ensuring schedule, cost and quality targets are met- Coordinate closely and constructively with OPI European core team of Business Developers and Development Engineers to deliver Country business targets- Provide construction input during the pre-NTP, NTP and Construction phase of projects- Develop key Construction Execution deliverables during the pre-NTP phase of projects- Develop and assess key strategic and tactical decisions and framing them into the EPC Contractors Project Execution Plans- Establish a strong network of onshore renewables EPCs, Technical Consultants and Owners Engineers.
