I’m a dedicated and detail-oriented student at the University of Rhode Island, pursuing dual degrees in Biological Sciences and Spanish, with minors in Leadership Studies and Psychology. My academic path reflects a deep passion for both the life sciences and language, and I’m driven by a commitment to interdisciplinary learning, inclusive leadership, and meaningful community impact.Currently, I’m gaining hands-on experience through multiple research roles- As a Summer Fellow Research Assistant on the Urban Foodways Project, I contribute to community-based research focused on cultural food traditions, urban agriculture, and sustainability- As an Undergraduate Research Assistant in URI’s Avian Disease Ecology Lab, I support research on wildlife disease ecology, gaining experience in lab-based techniques and host-pathogen dynamics.With strong skills in research, data analysis, leadership, and bilingual communication, I’m excited to apply my academic background and lived experience in professional environments that value curiosity, collaboration, and inclusion. I’m passionate about contributing to scientific progress while supporting equity and access across academic and community spaces.
