Responsibilities include IMPORT as well as DOMESTIC buying.• Follow up with import suppliers for the shipping documents and co-ordinate with the EXIM dept. for clearing of cargo within time.• NPD, Costing and Negotiation, Vendor Finalization, RFX document etc.• Budgeting and planning the funds for procurement and sourcing of material, ensuring timely in- warding of material. Managing Daily Shortage Review Dashboard, Shortage Calculation, Schedule Releasing to the Vendors• Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality.
