I am an accomplished technology leader and former Apple software engineer who is passionate about improving security, performance, and privacy online. I founded Cloudflare Research, a hybrid research organization at Cloudflare focused on helping build a better Internet.I\'ve been widely quoted on technology matters in the media (Nature, NYT, WSJ, ABC, CNN, Forbes, Bloomberg, WIRED, etc.), published influential papers in top-tier journals, spoken at dozens of technology conferences, and contributed one of the most widely-read cryptography articles to Ars Technica. I volunteer as co-chair of the Crypto Forum Research Group, as a program committee member for multiple conferences, and as a member of the steering committee for Real World Cryptography.My current focus is on consulting, angel investing, advising startups, and improving internet security standards.
