About Ntasha Patel

Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in community mental health, private practice, utilization management, training, and auditing. I have experience providing individual, group, couples, and family therapy to a diverse population including adults, children, adolescents, elderly, and developmentally disabled clients among others. I have provided therapy to address a number of issues including: substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, psychosis, ADHD, oppositional defiance, and adjustment disorders. I have counseled clients with various personal issues related to divorce, stress, postpartum issues, gender identity, childhood trauma, self esteem, relational difficulties, and anger management. I have assisted children in returning to school; parents in reuniting with children separated from them by DFCS/court; homeless in seeking resources; substance users in building plans for relapse prevention; disabled in receiving disability; and individuals with coming to terms with trauma.I am adept in creating and providing trainings for counselors, acting as a liaison between agencies, and managing a database of resources for both clients and counselors.I am able to audit agency records for quality of care and compliance with state regulations and then train in order to improve areas of deficiency.I pride myself in being a professional first and foremost. I am dedicated and passionate in the field of behavioral health. I am reliable, organized, creative, a problem solver, and good with people.
