As an Advisory Systems Engineer I provide specialist technical expertise in support of pre-sales activities in the Cloud Service Provider and Systems Integrator markets, working mainly with Global Alliance Partners. The role includes defining solutions to support customer business requirements and future strategies, working with Account Directors directly on Sales opportunities and responding to RFIs and RFPs.My role’s focus is on the solution design of IT Services utilising technologies from Dell, VMware and/or Microsoft which can be delivered as complete Dell Technology solutions that enable Private Public or Hybrid Cloud infrastructures along with traditional Infrastructure hosting and virtualisation technologies equipped with automated provisioning.Responsibilities include: providing consultative technical expertise on solution infrastructure and architecture design throughout the sales cycle, through the process of gathering customer requirements, translating these business requirements into technical specifications, preparation and presentation of designs, pricing and the preparation and delivery of technical proposals.
