Advises and assists leaders across Canada to ensure consistent application and compliance with HR programs, policies and initiatives.• Counsels managers and supervisors regarding employee relations issues and recommends actions consistent with policy. • Counsels and advises management and employees on problem resolution, supervisory discretion and policy interpretation. • Investigates employee relations issues and workplace conflicts and recommends appropriate actions.• Assists in development of project plans and executes plans to enhance staff development, engagement and retention.• Assists in identification, gap analysis, action planning and execution to close organizational gaps in areas of employee satisfaction, organizational development and effectiveness, training and diversity.• Assists in development and delivery of employee and manager training programs.• Creates and runs required reports including compensation analyses.• Assists with issue resolution, performance plans, corrective actions, terminations, recognition, exit interviews, succession planning and other human resources policies and procedures.• Occasionally prepares internal employee communications regarding human resources functional areas or company policies.• Occasionally assists with policy development, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.
