About Natalia S.

As a graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a degree in Community and Regional Development emphasizing Policy, Planning, and Social Services, and a minor in Public Health, I am dedicated to using my background to create meaningful, positive change in my community. Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work at Aggie Compass: Basic Needs Center at UC Davis, where I was fruitful in tackling mental health, housing, food, and financial insecurities within my student community. As the Center Lead Coordinator and Intake Coordinator at the Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center, a non-profit organization in higher education, I have gained three years of experience in developing exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Now as an alumni, I am currently serving as Social Work Coordinator & Program Manager under Aggie Compass: Basic Needs Center, which has given me a platform to reflect on my personal development, both professionally and academically. I thrive on creating a dynamic impact on my surroundings and am always keen to learn new things, improving my knowledge and skill set. I believe in the potential of producing meaningful solutions, growth, and development.
