About Nsima Ikpe
I’m current a Pharmaceutical Chemistry major on the pre-pharmacy track at Duke University. When I’m on campus I’m heavily involved in the music scene with Duke University Marching Band as a social media chair and student jazz group Jazz@. Outside of Duke, I’ve had experience working in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center on CAR T-Cell development. I’ve also ran my own initiative under Elon Freedom Scholars at Elon University to uplift experiences and voices of people of color in the LGBTQ+ community.In regard to my career, I’ve had experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Compass Healthcare and Rehab but I am now working as a Pharmacy Technician for Walgreens.
