ABOUT NICHOLAS SENN

I\'ve spent over a decade inside one of Canada\'s largest banks learning how organizations actually change, and how people actually learn. As Manager of Advisor Excellence at Scotiabank, I design and deliver training programs and coaching frameworks for business advisors across Canada\'s Business Banking network. My work sits at the intersection of learning design, change management, and performance analytics, translating head office strategy into field-ready programs that advisors can actually use. What I\'ve come to understand is that the hardest part of any transformation isn\'t the technology. It\'s the people. Getting a team of advisors to adopt a new tool, shift a behaviour, or change how they serve clients requires more than a training deck. It requires knowing how adults learn, how organizations resist change, and how to build trust with the people doing the work. My background spans instructional design, executive dashboard development (Power BI), AI tools (Google Vertex AI, Microsoft Copilot), stakeholder communication, and compliance-aware program delivery in a highly regulated environment. Outside of work I shoot headshot photography, which keeps the creative side of my brain very much alive.
