President & Head of Manufacturing Operations for Integrated Steel Plant in Southern India having cumulative future capacity of 1.2 Million Tonnes.As Head, All-India Operations, Hess-AAC Blocks & Drymix (Unit of Ultratech Cement), I direct plant operations at Mumbai & Hyderabad for manufacture of autoclaved aerated cement (AAC) blocks, Drymix cement mortar and Water Proofing. I lead an employee base of 700#(workmen & staff) and meet business productivity & profitability targets. Turned around the Chennai plant of Hyderabad Industries. I am a Seasoned Manufacturing professional with qualifications in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace & Industrial Engineering and strong Techno-Commercial capabilities and diverse experience with leading enterprises. I have worked in Cement, Engineering, Metal, Steel and Manufacturing industries.With an educational background in Industrial Engineering from Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (Formerly Known as NITIE, Mumbai) and MBA from AIMA - Center of Management Education, New Delhi; I am well versed in Manufacturing, QC, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning & Control, Project Mgmt. & Implementation, Plant Maintenance, and Factory Administration. I am recognized as an expert in Process Engg. and CI.I have worked on advanced technologies & equipment imported from Germany, Netherlands, Japan and Finland. During my career, I have achieved consistent success in meeting schedules, resource optimization, operational excellence, process improvements, scalability, compliance, and maximizing P & Ls.Skilled in Modern Manufacturing Processes including 5 S, JIT, TPM, TQM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Enterprise Management Systems, 8 D Models.
