About Neel Parikh
Highly motivated software engineer with a deep background in autonomy software. Along with software engineering experience, also skilled in mentoring and leading teams of people with diverse skills and experience levels. I am currently working as a Staff Autonomy Software engineer at TORC Robotics. Over the years of working at TORC Robotics, I have worn different hats ranging from various levels of software engineer to Product Owner to Engineering Manager and sometimes all at the same time. My primary focus has been behavioral planning, motion planning, and motion control aspects of SAE level 4 self-driving vehicles. Key areas of expertise are in lane change, merges, pulling off onto a shoulder, responding to emergency vehicles, etc. problems of autonomy. My competencies include C++, ROS, Python, OpenCV, and Git. I have a deep interest in autonomous vehicles, machine learning, and robot perception.
