I’m a Chartered Engineer with skills and experience in industural scale photovoltaic (PV), commerical rooftop solar PV, industrial energy efficiency specialising in variable speed drives(VSD), micro off-grid renewable energy systems, and internet of things (IoT) data collection and analysis. Project Highlights- Lead Engineer as Owners Engineer on a 16MW solar farm for UK University- Engineering Manager of 1GW solar PV park in Middle East- Solar Designer of over 60 UK council\'s rooftop > 1MW (Salix funded project)- Creating and deploying IoT remote monitor for small renewable energy non profit organisation- Trialing and analysis of a hybrid (wind and solar off grid system)- investigation found an 18% additional investment yielded 2X return on available energy for communities without grid electricity- 4MW baseload reduction (£2.2M p.a savings) deploying VSD technology in steel industry reducing electricity consumption.Colleagues know me as a highly organised and creative problem solver, whether it’s engineering related or general project management.
