Observability for Enterprise Features:Opensearch- Designed and implemented a novel replication infrastructure design for AWS Opensearch utilizing Data-Prepper clusters, improving resilience and data-availability by 100% and allowing for cross-region Opentelemetry Span, Metric, and Logging data- Developed AWS Lambda alarms using Python to: maintain data-quality, archive obsolete information, and enforce health of replication-status within owned Opensearch-clusters.SDK Development- Built Observability SDKs for Python, Java, and Golang programming languages that enhance and improve upon the OpenTelemetry SDK, introducing zero-code auto-instrumentation, allowing for developers to easily instrument their applications and services and have them publishing Span and Trace data, along with simplified tools for customizing Trace and Metric data- Worked with customer teams to develop KPI metrics and SLAs, use our SDK to instrument their projects, and retrieve and utilize their Telemetry data to create dashboards and monitors within New Relic and Opensearch.API Development- Engineered and onboarded to production a Lambda API for developers to use to communicate with AWS Opensearch clusters.
