Head of Production Finance / FP & A hybrid role for STARZ, a premium subscription and OTT media entertainment service. Within my first three months I completely re-conceptualized and rebuilt LRP financial models for Production, Development, and G&A, resulting in improved cost tracking metrics, more flexible budgeting and forecasting, and more accurate and timely reporting. Currently I am building out systems and policies & procedures as Starz transitions from a network-only platform to an independent, vertically-integrated studio and premium cable / streaming service.Other key responsibilities include:• Partnering with cross-functional teams to perform monthly and quarterly reforecasting of departmental G&A, development expense, and production costs• Annual preparation and presentation of departmental budget to C-Suite personnel• Monthly general ledger reconciliation of production and development assets and liabilities• Monthly preparation and presentation of financial results to executive management• Cash flow management for licensed and owned productions• Direct interaction with third party content providers and producers for hire, advising on budgeting, cost reporting, breakage requests, license fee calculations, cost verification auditing• Financial consulting (report building / auditing / budgeting) with international division on non-U.S. based projects• Extensive ad hoc financial analysis
