I am a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in the Insurance industry at the largest composite insurer in the UK. I have had a variety of roles, largely focussed on commercial acumen and strategy building and execution; roles include: Strategic Execution Lead, Business Manager, Customer Strategy Lead, Finance Business Partner and Financial Planning & Analysis. I have built a strong, wide network across Aviva using my excellent people and communication skills. I am looking for opportunities that will continue to challenge me and allow me to add value from my knowledge of the Life business and experiences to date.I am an ambitious big-picture thinker, organised and have a can-do attitude, which makes me well suited to handling a portfolio of tasks efficiently; working productively and collaboratively to ensure my outputs are of the highest possible quality and completed in a timely manner.Throughout my career at Aviva I have proactively sought out opportunities to widen my understanding and knowledge of the business while taking a lead on projects and books of work. I am on the register of Arabic speakers to help Aviva communicate with its customers and also manage accounting graduates to ensure we develop the future pipeline of leaders into the organisation.
