ABOUT NOUR H.

As a Civil Engineering graduate from York University, I aspire to combine my engineering experience and interest in a challenging and fulfilling career. My father, an accomplished Civil Engineer, inspired me to pursue this dynamic field, where I can apply my problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to create positive impacts. My passion for engineering led me to an internship at Kiewit, one of the largest construction and engineering organizations in North America. There, I gained valuable industry experience by developing intricate work plans and schedules on multiple billion-dollar projects, including complex multi-million dollar operations that were delivered ahead of schedule and under budget. I also led and supervised crews of up to 10 people, while promoting a culture of safety and quality. This environment continually refines my leadership abilities, as it instills the importance of teamwork, strategic planning, and effective communication. In the midst of high-pressure situations, it\'s honed my ability to maintain composure, make critical decisions, and promote a culture of safety and quality.
