About John Daniel Norombaba
Currently a M.S. student in Informatics at UC Irvine. Doing research at the intersection of human-centered computing, design, and AI. With my background in Software Engineering, my work blends iterative and rapid prototyping with qualitative research in order to build tools that shape the way we learn and work, through thoughtful design. Notable projects include Daily Smirk, a high-frequency peer-assessment platform used quarterly by 300+ undergraduate students at UC Irvine. And, more recently, Nasomeatr, an ICS Expo winning portable evaluation tool for children with cleft palate.Currently exploring research and design opportunities in HCI/HCC and AI.
