While with The Salvation Army I served in the communities of El Paso, Tx, Kenai, AK, Oxnard, CA, and Everett,WA,I developed the a free medical and dental clinic in Oxnard, ran the Ventura County Warming Shelter for 4 years for Oxnard and Ventura.My programs that I wrote and developed also included Sally\'s Place a state of the art HUD transitional housing project in Oxnard, CA and New Tomorrows funded by Sound Families an outreach of the Gates Foundation in Everett Washington to restore homeless families and help them to be come self sustaining, the true measure of a successful program.
