The Manufacturing Co-operative is a social enterprise. Our aim is to match the specialist skills of UK manufacturing small businesses, with the needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers and Primes by delivering innovative supply chain solutions. This new collaborative approach makes it easier for OEMs to source products and services from UK SME’s.The manufacturing co-operative has been set up with enabling funding as part of the Higher Education Funding Council England support, to the Operations Excellence Institute (OEI) at Cranfield University.

Following a successful corporate career in the manufacturing and service sectors, I established OptiMatrix in 2002. OptiMatrix is an independent business consultancy that provides support to the Defence, Aerospace and Security sector working with both Industry clients,(from SMEs to international primes) and Government agencies on a national and international basis.OptiMatrix has been engaged on a wide range of high-profile initiatives, including MOD transformation programmes and has also provided strategic direction and operational delivery in navigating complex procurement environments to align commercial delivery with strategic outcomes.
