ABOUT NORMAN RAMBY

I am a senior level aerospace manager with a strong operations background with over 30 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing/fabrication, assembly, integrated testing & flight testing with the ability to deliver high quality products on cost & schedule using lean manufacturing & six sigma principles. I have also managed cross functional teams, represented workforce\'s, manufacturing support disciplines directly & in a matrix organization. I have developed & managed projects/programs using the Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Annual Operating Plans (AOP) & Capital expenditures. I am proficient in developing strategies & executing plans to achieve the business objectives. I have great Customer relationships & intimacy by talking with them regularly & seeking feedback for improvements based on voice of the Customer.I believe in lean operations with minimal layers of management by setting expectations, following up & empowering teams by providing the authority & accountability. I actively participate in the development of my direct reports & have a strong history of supporting diversity & inclusion in my management teams.One of my strengths is that I am a “hands on Leader” in many areas such as safety, quality, cost, & lean by participating in the deployment & training of all levels within the organization. I interact with the teams daily by walking the floor, talking to the teams & working with them to resolve constraints. My next step of my career is to continue my professional growth in Operations by leading multiple sites in an executive role.
