As Program and Business Development Manager for Tearfund in Bangladesh, I provide strategic leadership for the design, delivery, and growth of partner-led development programmes, direct implementation initiatives, and humanitarian responses. My role spans the full project lifecycle- from strategic planning, proposal development, and donor engagement to implementation oversight, monitoring and evaluation, and compliance with both organisational quality standards and national regulations.I work closely with the Country Director to drive business development, secure institutional and bilateral funding, and build strong, sustainable partnerships with government agencies, international donors, local organisations, and faith-based networks. I also lead on capacity building, programme quality assurance, and evidence-based learning, ensuring our work is impactful, accountable, and aligned with Tearfund’s mission to restore relationships, end extreme poverty, and see people reach their God-given potential.
