I’m a results-driven Senior Cost Engineer / Manager, well versed in applying my in-depth knowledge of estimating, cost control, cost forecasting, and risk analysis to ensure engineering projects are viable and successful. I achieve success by combining more than 10 years’ practical experience in cost engineering with a ‘hands on’ leadership approach to resolve project obstacles and optimise the balance between cost, quality and time requirements.Since July 2015 I have operated as an independent contractor supplying a technical service to clients; my company is NJK Engineering Ltd and customers include AMEC, Vynova Group, Assystem, Bilfinger UK, Kier Group Plc and Wood Group Plc. With contracts I have provided services on all aspects of cost engineering and management, e.g. reducing costs by conducting and in-depth analysis of engineering projects and processes, implementing control functions, capturing and defining project requirements (financial), and providing clients with business insights on financial reporting, trending data, and performance analysis.My forte is budgeting and monitoring of investment projects, and preparing cost and expenses reports for the production process. This attribute was demonstrated as Cost Engineer Manager with Vynova Group when I oversaw the preparation and approval of the project control budget and developed a cost-benefit analysis of potential project opportunities.Aside from the technical and analytical aspects of my role, effective communication skills instil confidence with stakeholders, C-Level, and colleagues to give transparency, generate synergy, and create an environment of trust, respect, and co-operation.I am currently seeking to leverage my skills to secure a new assignment, if my profile matches your requirements, please contact me for a copy of my CV.
