ABOUT NORMAN GENTRY
I have over 24 years of experience in all types of commercial, multifamily and residential construction work. Currently I assist in overseeing day to day operations, client relationships, estimating, marketing, responding to RFQ\'s, preparing and delivering presentations, review the projects financial performance, manage estimators and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and under budget.One of my greatest skills is assisting clients from the conceptual phase through design and construction, preparing initial concept budget estimates, making suggestions on the best materials and methods, updating budgets as design progresses, making value engineering suggestions, analyzing constructability, keeping the design team on schedule, managing the permiting, and ensuring the clients goals for the project are achieved. I am a LEED AP and have completed several LEED Certified facilities, including one facility that achieved a Gold Certification. I currently serve on the Collier County\'s Development Services Advisory Committee. The purpose of this committee is to provide recommendations to the BCC to assist in the enhancement of operational efficiency and budgetary accountability within the Community Development Services Division and to serve as a primary communication link between the Community Development Services Division, the development industry and the citizens of Collier County.Leadership Collier Class of 2010
