Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, competitive sourcing events and supplier management programs to improve service level performance, SCM return on investment and enhance ENMAX sustainable competitive advantage-Develop category strategies and work with Buyers to execute business initiatives in adherence with category planning requirement and performance goals-Provide strategic analysis on internal and external data sources, market information and industry benchmarking on various goods and services in order to ensure continuity of supply and meet cost reduction requirements-Integrate into the business and demonstrate SCM’s market knowledge, commercial leadership expertise and publish a forward-looking demand and procurement plan-Drive success in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with suppliers, internal customers, peers, and senior management to gain an in depth understanding of their business, strategies, market forces and subsequent procurement requirements-Research, identify, and analyze current supplier base and market trends in order to implement process improvements and change initiatives-Negotiate and implement agreements of significant cost and complexity-Continuously improving the strategic sourcing processes at ENMAX-Liaise with Audit, Legal, compliance and other internal stakeholders to improve overall process performance-Promote, develop and maintain ethical business relationships in a positive and effective manner to ensure the alignment of sourcing strategies with ENMAX corporate requirements.
