I am a Principal Safety Architect specialising in the development architecture of safety for AI-enabled and software-intensive systems.Safety is the structured reduction of risk of harm.In emerging AI systems, that structure is often implicit.I help technology companies make safety explicit, structurally sufficient, and engineered into the product from the outset.My work focuses on defining clear safety criteria and structuring safety achievement across development, validation, and in-service monitoring, so that safety cases emerge from a coherent engineering foundation rather than being assembled retrospectively.I work primarily with emerging and scaling organisations building robotics, automation, and intelligent systems who require structured safety leadership as they move toward real-world deployment under evolving regulatory expectations.Founder, PragmaSafe Ltd.
