I am honored to serve as the Director of Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory at a pivotal moment for particle physics and for U.S. scientific leadership.Fermilab has a proud legacy of pioneering discovery through bold vision, technical excellence, and teamwork. I come to this role with deep respect for that legacy—and a clear sense of responsibility as high-energy physics enters a new era. Fermilab must remain central to advancing discovery and sustaining U.S. leadership, in close collaboration with universities, other national laboratories, and international partners.My vision for Fermilab is built on four priorities:Global leadership in neutrino science: Fermilab will remain the world’s neutrino capital, delivering and operating world-leading accelerator and detector facilities.Delivery of next-generation facilities: Completing PIP-II and LBNF-DUNE safely, on schedule, and with excellence—while modernizing our infrastructure and business systems—is our top institutional priority.A balanced, integrated scientific portfolio: We will advance the most compelling frontiers of high-energy physics while supporting broader DOE missions through strong science, R&D, and technology development.Fermilab as a global integrator and partner: Fermilab will serve as a collaborative hub, building alliances—not competition—to advance science more effectively together.High-energy physics drives innovation far beyond our field.
