About Nora Winnestaffer
EDUCATIONFor the entirety of my K-12 education, I attended Solon City Public Schools as a proud Solon Comet. I received my undergraduate degree in Software Engineering at Miami University in 2016 where I focused on the intersection of technology and education. In 2022, I graduated with my dual EMBA/MS in Healthcare Policy and Research from Cornell University. WORKI joined Eli Lilly and Company straight out of undergrad as an IT Analyst in the Medicines Development organization. During the first several years of my career, I worked closely on digital biomarkers within exploratory clinical trials and the implementation of decentralized clinical trial capabilities. In 2021, I moved into management within the Product Development space where I led a team supporting our local scientists. Two years later, I completed a 6-month international short-term assignment developing a 3-year technology roadmap at our Lilly Japan office in Kobe. Upon returning to the US, I began leading a team of developers in our Software Engineering Hub back in Indianapolis. This team helped deliver on our key priorities within R&D. Most recently I stepped into a new role as the Senior Director for our Digital Experience Strategy and Innovation program. In this role, I lead the implementation of the people, process and technology strategy for the global enterprise AI Service Desk Chatbot program for plus employees and contractors PASSIONS AND INTERESTSWhen I am not working or in school I really enjoy music. For me, this can be playing music, listening to it at home, or attending concerts in person. I also love to travel and am working towards visiting every state in the US. I also have a huge passion for recruitment and inclusion. Whether it was giving tours to new students at Miami University or leading technical recruitment efforts within Lilly, I have always been passionate about connecting others to their purpose.
