ABOUT NORA WUTTKE
I am a social anthropologist who bridges energy, health, and infrastructure. Over the past decade I’ve shaped projects as an architectural engineer for industry and INGOs. Today I’m a post‑doctoral researcher Durham University\'s engineering department and Fellow at the Durham Energy Institute, where I also serve as Artist‑in‑Residence. I weave my art practice into ethnographic research to uncover the human stories behind systems. In parallel, I’m a Research Fellow and Lecturer at SOAS University of London, and I lead the environmental strategy on the Board of Trustees at Deptford X.My work is driven by a belief that sustainable solutions emerge when we listen to people, artisticaly interrogate complex realities, and translate insights into actionable change.
