As Design Editor I manage and collaborate with a team of talented, like-minded students to design and produce visually engaging magazine pages. I am passionate about editorial design, I bring creativity and attention to detail to each issue, and I’m hoping to pursue a future career in the editorial design industry. After my first year, I was recommended by the Editor in Chief to serve as the director of the design team. This leadership role provides me with hands-on experience in directing the creative vision of our magazine. In this role I will delegate spreads to a team of designers, provide feedback, ensure that a cohesive creative vision is executed, push creative boundaries, and serve as a final check point for reviewing the magazine before print.
