ABOUT NORA GASHI
Board certified, internal medicine physician with over 10 years of experience. I\'ve practiced primary care and hospital medicine in the community setting in states such as NJ, NY, VT and HI, maintaining certifications and licensing credentials in my speciality based on the highest standards. More recently, I was on the front lines of patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing around the clock care at White Plains Hospital in NY for almost three months. Now, in Hawaii, I\'m working at the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu in the front line of Covid-19 patient care. A little background about me: I emigrated to the United States in June as a refugee of the Serbian-Kosovar war, maintaining close ties my roots back home and the Albanian community in diaspora. I am engaged in efforts of supporting the Albanian Medical Cause around the globe by utilizing, maximizing and sharing medical education and awareness via tele-communication.
