Create the operational and administrative infrastructure of the Population Health Unit within Behavioral Health Services. • Develop, implement, monitor, and manage short and long-term planning for the administrative and operational success of the Population Health unit. • Coordinate and support the success of domains within the unit including but not limited to Quality Improvement, Healthcare Integration, Harm Reduction, etc. • Collaborate, communicate, and liaise with internal and external customers including county leadership, stakeholders, contractors, etc. • Gather, analyze, interpret data, and make recommendations to help inform future programs and services to reduce disparities, increase equity, and increase access to necessary behavioral health services. • Effectively solve problems that may be sensitive to the success of the county by identifying issues, securing relevant information, and identifying and proposing solutions. • Effectively communicate in oral and written form. • Assist in the creation, management, and administration of the units budget, forecasting of necessary programs and personnel, etc. • Hire, onboard, train, and lead professionals by establishing effective working relationship with employees representing diverse cultures and backgrounds. • Communicate effectively with a variety of individuals representing diverse cultures and backgrounds and function calmly in challenging situations, which require a high degree of sensitivity, tact and diplomacy • Provide responsive, high quality service to County employees, representative of outside agencies and members of the public by providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information, in a courteous, efficient and timely manner
