Analyzing the project / work based on Sales order and sales quote drawings Verifying the compatibility check between mating components and critical areas by creating the initial layout and stack up drawings Initializing the critical dimensions based on stack up drawing and hand calculations Verifying the design with reference to API-6A, API 6D and ASME Section 8 Div 1 & 2 Preparing the mark-up drawings and BOM for Forgings or pre heat treat, Clad & Pre clad, Machining and Assemblys based on API-6A and Cameron Engineering standards Reviewing and Approving the completed Drawings and BOM for Manufacturing Involved in New product development activities for Split Gate Valve. Gained Hands on Experience with API-6A, 6D and ASME Section8 Div 2 Proficient with following 3D & 2D Modeling and Drafting software packages, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor & AutoCad, CREO and Unigraphics NX-5. PLM & PDM Autodesk Vault and SAP. Also as a Stress Analyst To Support the Design and field problem for the Surface Xmas Tree Blocks & Gate Valves assembly. Work consist of validate the sealing of manifold gasket, structural strength through FEA using CAE software Autodesk Simulation Mechanical 2016 (Algor) Benchmarking Simulation Mechanical software for Structural Analysis and Thermal Analysis with similar results from ANSYS Structural and Thermal Analysis of Gate Valve Components Bonnet, Body, Block Body as per API 6A 20th Edition.
