Clinical - a physician by training and degree MBBS (Mumbai -India), MSC - masters in the science of counseling specialization gerontology, summa cum laude.Quality assurance- NCQA PCMH CCE - certified content expert in the standards of care for patient centered medical homes in quality of care and assurance.Performance metrics - knowledge base in performance evaluation, analysis and analytics and PDSA. Lean. Sigma.HEDIS - abstractor and auditor. Using HEDIS specs to drive alignment and quality initiatives for small and larger organizations. Patient experience - CAHPS - well versed with patient experience survey tools and methodology to drive access and close gaps in health care such as no show rates and wait times.Health equity - knowledge of equitable best practices and to drive change to close gaps in disparate care. My degree in counseling and gerontology, exposed me to a demographic that is disenfranchised and has the least amount of resources assigned for its population. My time at CHNCT (12 years) my radio show on “Aging 1:1” with Nooriya Khokha, my volunteer work with COVID vaccination drives, IRIS - teaching English to immigrants and refugees as well as volunteering at the Food bank and being invited by schools speak on topics related to equity, inclusion and diversity has helped me understand and learn from people and their honesty and candid conversations have shaped me into who I am today.
