As a postgraduate researcher, I am contributing to an interdisciplinary project focused on the development of magnetic biosensors through the electrospinning of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and magnetite-based composite materials. My responsibilities include- Preparing and optimizing PVA/magnetite dispersions for electrospinning- Conducting electrospinning experiments to fabricate composite nanofibers- Characterizing synthesized materials using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS)- Investigating structure-property relationships to evaluate the materials’ potential in magnetic biosensing applicationsThis project builds on my previous thesis work in nanocomposites and expands my expertise in electrospinning, materials characterization, and sensor development.
