I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined The Women’s Network at Northwestern University as a Campus Ambassador!The Women’s Network is dedicated to connecting ambitious women across universities and industries, creating spaces for collaboration, mentorship, and empowerment. As an ambassador, I’ll be helping to grow our community on campus by organizing events, fostering connections, and encouraging women at Northwestern to share their stories and support one another.

ABOUT NOOR HASSAN
As a Northwestern student majoring in journalism with interests in various business industries, I thrive on blending analytical thinking with creative storytelling. Eager to navigate the dynamic intersection of business and media, I draw inspiration from my diverse interests in fashion, entertainment, culture, and identity—fields where compelling narratives can drive meaningful impact. By combining my academic foundation with a genuine curiosity for learning, I continually seek to grow and contribute fresh perspectives to the industries that shape our world.At age five I was diagnosed with stage 4 Wilms’ tumor, a rare kidney cancer. Thanks to a protocol developed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and funded by Cycle for Survival, I survived — and in response, my family created Team Noor’s Army, which has now raised over $1 million for rare cancer research.To turn my experience into action and voice, I founded Cancer Echoes to highlight the untold stories of the cancer journey—patients, caregivers, researchers and beyond. Through our podcast Beyond the Battlefront, I explore what’s on the other side of the “battle” with cancer: healing, lived experience, identity, and hope.By combining my academic foundation with genuine curiosity and lived advocacy, I continually seek to grow and contribute fresh perspectives to the industries that shape our world.You can reach me at n••••••••@u.northwestern.edu
