Welcome to my professional profile. I’m Nolgie, a PhD candidate in Engineering Education Research. My aim is to foster an environment of academic excellence within the domain of engineering education. With a solid foundation in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, I am deeply invested in enhancing support systems for neurodivergent students, focusing primarily on those navigating their academic paths with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).My research interests include engineering cognition, cognitive science, neurodivergent students, data analytics, and pedagogical innovation. These areas are foundational to my mission of identifying and advocating for teaching practices that champion the diverse capabilities of all learners. As I advance through my doctoral program, I remain steadfast in my commitment to shaping a more supportive and adaptive learning landscape for future engineers.
