About Nolan Huber

Graduate of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. The MMET degree can best be explained as a Mechanical Engineer with all of the mechanical concept knowledge to design and then actually create what they \"engineer\". 80% of the MMET courses contain a corresponding lab with hands-on participation in various industry practices, unlike other ME’s. With my degree, I have developed a knowledge of metallic and non-metallic materials and the vast manufacturing processes of each. The principles of welding, machining, and post-machining processes as well as the statistical quality assurance and economics of engineering are mastered through MMET. I am NDT trained through the degree plan as well. I was awarded the \'Distinguished Student Award\' by Texas A&M College of Engineering in Fall \'22. In addition to MMET, I minored in Business Administration with a background in accounting, marketing, and management.Excited to join Halliburton as a Supply Chain Management Program Associate based in Duncan, Oklahoma. I am focused on driving impactful projects in HSE safety and optimizing business product lines. Looking forward to leveraging my skills in project management and supply chain optimization to contribute effectively to Halliburton\'s mission and growth.During the 2023 spring and summer, I had the great opportunity to Intern with Amazon as an Operations Engineer. During my internship I learned the role of a Field and Standard Work Operations Engineer. Over the course of the spring, I learned the documentation and standardization of procedures in the field. I created several standard operating procedures (SOP) and 360 visualization tools for equipment. During the summer, I conducted Throughput Qualification (TQ) and Live Order Testing (LOT) of conveyance and equipment in Amazon Fulfillment Centers. I also had a 10 week White Paper Project in which I created an overhead conveyance mechanical inspection vehicle that I designed, tested, standardized and presented to the North American Directors. I am proud to say that Amazon is currently implementing my design in their inspection practices as of August 2023.During my time at Texas A&M University, I worked as a student technician in the Zachry Engineering Laboratories, ensuring safety, maintaining order, and setting up labs. Concurrently, since 2016, I\'ve successfully owned and operated Bexar Auto Spa, initially a neighborhood car wash service that I grew into a profitable full-time business during school breaks, through customer relations, marketing, and organizational skills.
