Serves on the leadership team as a lead technician by overseeing all aspects of day-to-day facilities operations. Oversee facilities and trade technicians (12 reports) and the management of the operations for two hospital sites, multiple (100+) off site clinics, and two administrative sites – amounting to in excess sq ft across two counties. Aid in the management of a safe, comprehensive facilities maintenance program in accordance with department/hospital policies, local, state and national codes. Regularly model/mentor and train colleagues on technical skills. Ancillary duties include management of fleet vehicles for Southern Colorado. Prior to accepting a Lead role, served as a Facilities Technician in the region\'s largest Level 1 hospital where I became acquainted with the nuances of the healthcare setting.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESDaily operations including tech assignments, monitoring work progress and quality, leadership meetings, planning, budgeting.Training of new hires, coaching and assisting techs as needed on complex issues and projects.
