ABOUT NOLAN WELSH
My name is Nolan Welsh and I\'m a 2nd year Economics student at McGill university. I\'m interested in the medical field and completed my EMR certification in 2022 and have volunteered at events providing medial support since completion of my training. I\'ve taken an interest in politics and have served as an intern at both the Ontario Liberal Party and as an intern for MP Leslie Church in Toronto-St. Paul\'s. Additionally I currently serve as the National Secretary of the Young Liberals of Canada(YLC) and the President of my Liberal campus club at McGill. In winter 2025 I served as the National Youth organizer for Prime Minister Mark Carney\'s successful Liberal leadership election which we won with 86% support. I\'m constantly looking at ways to give back to my community and meet other young ambitious individuals who enjoy advocating for their community. Finally I\'m an OFSAA athlete and a competitive swim coach + Aquatic Examiner. I have served in several roles including as Head Coach of a U10 Competitive Swim Team, as a deck supervisor for swim camps and as a first aid and lifeguard instructor/examiner.
