About Nolan Ogden
Nolan leads PwC’s Central Region Private Tax practice, where he works closely with private companies and their owners to navigate complex tax landscapes and unlock long-term value. With more than 20 years of experience in tax consulting, compliance, and tax provision services, Nolan brings deep technical expertise and a forward-looking approach that integrates data and technology to help clients grow and transform their tax functions. Nolan previously served as PwC’s US Tax Chief Technology Officer, where he led the firm’s efforts to modernize the tax function through technology, data, and process transformation. His leadership helped shape how tax operations evolve - both for clients and within PwC - and continues to inform his work today. In his current role, he brings this innovation-focused mindset to clients across sectors, helping them address complexity and plan for sustainable growth. Nolan’s expertise includes managing global ASC 740 reviews, federal and state compliance, M&A structuring, and global tax planning. He has also successfully led numerous federal, state, and local tax audits for companies across various industries. Nolan is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Tax Accounting from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs.
