ABOUT NOLAN HOLLEY

Hey! I am a rising Senior Marketing Major at Miami University Farmer School of Business. Along with this, I am now proficient in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel after using these skills in my first year classes at Miami. I have also developed exceptional teamwork skills through Miami University\'s first year integrated core where my team and I worked with FC Cincinnati to problem solve attendance issues in the Client Challenge. These teamwork skills are continuing to be developed as I continue into my third year with many teamwork tasks on my plate. Prior to my enrollment at Miami, I have experienced many different types of work. This past summer In Atlanta, Georgia, I was grateful to have the opportunity to learn about the insurance industry and acquire new skills in the field of sales. In the summer of 2023, I was lucky enough to start a door to door window cleaning business in the greater Cincinnati area. I worked on strategic ways to pitch a customer, complete the cleanings to the customers satisfaction, and how to market the company in the best way possible. This startup gave me a valuable experience in the sales world, as well as problem solving skills when things did not go according to plan. Other jobs include, the startup of an auto detailing business, home remodeling, car wash associate, and amusement park cashier. In the future I look forward to building my skillset through the classes, clubs and extracurriculars I am involved in here at Miami University. Additionally, I look to strengthen my professional development through the opportunity that presents itself this coming summer of 2025!
