About Dave Zimmerman
I graduated from BYU 2004 with a Bachelor of Music in Media Music with a Percussion Emphasis. Throughout College I was a Percussion Teacher at Crescent School of Music (Now \"The Music School\") in American Fork, UT. I also worked with Drums On Demand at the end of my schooling which created popular Drum Loops. After Graduation, I worked a full season at Tuacahn Theatre for the Arts in St. George Utah as one of the front of the house mixers for over 100 shows. Although I have been recording bands and music from the beginning of my college years, I established Noisebox Studios officially August of 2006. Since then, I have worked with hundreds of different clients on different levels of audio production from recording Albums for both artists and bands as well as Books on CD. I have been able to work on tons of amazing projects from popular artists such as The Brocks, Caleb Blood, Tiffany Alvord, Steven Stucki, The Whits, The Anser, Kindle Creek, Steve Michels, Nik Day and many others. I have been the Audio Editor for many of Stephen Covey series audio books and the full audio production for History Books various internet audio and post production. My goals are to be the best Producer/Recording/Mixing Engineer I can possibly be. I have a desire to stay in Utah and collaborate with other Utah Studios to help bring Utah to the forefront as one of the most musically talented states. I believe there is tons of undiscovered talent in Utah that is becoming noticed. I also plan to support uplifting media. There is so much \"crap\" out there in the media that has a bad influence on our future generations. I hope to bring out the talent that has a positive influence on people and our future. I am also the Synthesizer instructor for Private Lessons at BYU. These lessons teach music production, sequencing, mixing, songwriting and synthesis.
