About Nohemy Hite

As Founder and CEO of the Erik Hite Foundation, I oversee the mission to carry the vision, goals and strategies to have a successful organization. I am responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization, its program, its finances, its development, its marketing and its fundraising goals and strategies.I have learned in the past 15 years to recruit, organize and work closely with a Board of Directors of 15 members. My focus is capacity building. I am a results oriented person and work hard to accomplish our goals. With a growing non-profit organization, you have to be creative, open minded and flexible to the constact changes that our community experience; socially, financially, mentally and emotionally.From learing IRS laws and requirements for a start-up non-profit organization and obtaining our non-profit status in 2009 to organizing several fundraiser events in the community to raise funds and awareness. Everything that I have learned, I treasure and don\'t take for granted. I like to share my experiences and desire for others to put their passion into work and enjoy what they do every day.My experiences are: Consultation for start-up non-profit organanizations. Consultation for start-ups child care centers, board engagement, creating meaninful and live changing services and resouces for a community of first responders.
