ABOUT NOHA HASSAN
I am a Toronto-based academic who carries out research on cutting-edge topics at the intersection of algorithms, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. My work focuses on designing intelligent and scalable solutions for complex real-world problems.I am especially interested in combining machine learning and optimization with real operational data to build systems that are not only theoretically sound but also practical and deployable. More recently, I have been expanding my work toward quantum computing and quantum machine learning methods to enhance large-scale network optimization and intelligent systems.I have collaborated internationally with leading researchers and institutions, including Florida Polytechnic University, Puducherry Technological University, and Vellore Institute of Technology. I am actively involved in interdisciplinary collaborations, student supervision, editorial service, and professional engineering leadership with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) chapters. She is also active in the professional community through the Communications Society and the Women in Engineering.
