ABOUT FLAVIO SCHLUCKEBIER NOGUEIRA

Controlling and Finance professional with 10+ years experience in the manufacturing and telecommunications segment. I have worked in different roles (Controller, Treasury, FP & A, Strategic Planning, Marketing and M&A) in an international/ multinational environment, that have provided me the knowledge to easily translate business into financial reports and KPIs.I have the ability to provide analysis and forecasts in a complex context, handle with the pressure of tight deadlines and build bridges between finance and operation/business departments. Over the years, I realized that finance and accounting are much more than numbers, they are about communication and cooperation.My goal is driving the operational path to reach financial targets while ensuring short-term results and long-term sustainability. In order to achieve it, I take my actions based on three pillars:• Teamwork mindset: People are the focus. Good interaction with co-workers from all departments and understanding of their KPIs and their business complexity are important steps towards being noticed as a business partner in decision-making processes. • Data analysis: Reliable information is a powerful leverage to engage people and support cost reduction/investment decisions.• Communication: My two-year experience as a professor has taught me that more important than what you know, is the ability to communicate it. Throughout my career, I´ve had global opportunities with highlight to: • Corporate controlling: responsible for financial consolidation and analyses of all business units (Brazil, China, Mexico, USA, Italy, Slovakia and Russia) • China short assignment (45 days): where I developed new profitability reports (sales region / customer /product) for Chinese BU that provided top management weekly reports (forecast/actual vs budget) and increased forecast accuracy (FCF e P&L).• Restructuring Italy facility: Finance focal point of compressors manufacturing break off process. General expenses saving of $ 2.5M USD per year and direct cost saving of $5.00 USD per produced unity.• Expatriated: Business Controller of Italy unity, leading with local/global shared service team the re-organization of all finance structure I\'m currently seeking to expand my global network, and share ideas regarding #business,#finance,#leadership,#economy,#internationalrelations or any other interesting subject in our fast pace world.
