ABOUT CHRISTOPHER RYAN

Emmy Nominated VFX Supervisor/On-Set Supervisor – I have 30 years of experience, the majority of that is a supervisor role, in virtually every aspect of visual effects, working with clients from pre-production to the final product with a creative and technical eye. My knowledge of VFX software is extensive and I have written many custom tools to speed up the production processes. I am known for successfully delegating, mentoring, managing people & projects, and developing efficient time saving techniques. Staying within timelines and coming up with creative solutions to make production run efficiently and within the budget. I bring to the table a large amount of experience in my career in Visual Effects. I started my career as a generalist and have learned many aspects of the post production process. From 2D, 3D, tool writing, pipeline creation, and various management roles. I have managed teams, large and small, locally and abroad in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Beijing, and Mumbai. I am a team player and I am able to fit into one or multiple roles depending on the production requirements. Most recent work includes On-Set and Post VFX Supervisor CBS\'s Watson as well as Post VFX Supervisor for NBC\'s Gross Point Garden Society.
