ABOUT NOÉMIE LEMAIRE

I have been working in tech for 12+ years- Started as a Java developer (backend and mobile products) in Singapore for 2 years- Moved to a full stack SWE role in Prague for 4 years on product managing identities- Switched to platform engineering with a focus on Kubernetes when moving to Canada in 2019 where I was part of a team to create a Kubernetes as a Service for Thales engineering teams to deploy Thales products- I was then part of the Block platform team, where I designed, improved, maintained the Compute infrastructure behind CashApp and its 55 million monthly active users. It was a super exciting 4 years, I learned a ton- I recently joined Hinge Health as a Senior ML Ops Engineer, I\'m in charge of set of services (service + infrastructure) to help our computer vision (CV) scientists to train models. Learning new challenges related to ML/CV and infrastructure! Working on all those challenging projects over the years taught me a lot on diverse technologies, helped me grew up as an engineer and led me to start on the leadership journey where I could be the tech lead of my team at Thales (I loved it!). Having the opportunity to live in different countries (France, Ireland, Singapore, Czech Republic and Canada) gave me the chance to work with so many different people coming from everywhere in the world! I believe in teamwork, transparency, user centric approach and polyvalence!On a personal note, I have been climbing for 26+ years, I competed for 10 years and I could teach for a couple of years! I enjoy doing sport, mostly outdoors like running, cycling, skiing.
